Peltigera collina, floury dog lichen. This is another species where the common name is actually quite useful - P. collina is the only Peltigera species with marginal soralia, which give the edges that floury texture.

(Soralia are reproductive structures which hold soredia - little packages of algal cells held together by fungal hyphae.)

This species has a wide global distribution - it has been recorded on iNaturalist on every single continent, except from Antarctica. Bit cold, you'd think. But then again, see my post on Sphaerophorous globosus.

However, the fact it's globally widespread doesn't mean its not an interesting find. Peltigera collina is a species for which Scotland has international responsibility and is listed on the Lowland Rainforest Index (LRI), Suboceanic Woodland Index (SWI) and Southern Oceanic Woodlands Index (SOWI). See Sanderson et al. 2018 for the full species lists.

These photos are from a lichen growing on a hazel (Corylus avellana) in area of Atlantic woodland in Argyll.
